Born 1940. Married to Nancy since 1961. Four Children, 3 grandchildren. BS, Tulane University, J. D. , St. Mary's University School of Law.
I am a Senior District Judge of the State of Texas, which means that I am retired with more than 20 years service, but continue to sit regularly by assignment. I was licensed to practice law in 1968, Board Certified in Criminal Law in 1975, and wrote in 1998 (and for 9 years updated annually) Texas Courtroom Criminal Evidence, published by Lexis Publishing. From 1979 to 1999 I taught criminal law, criminal procedure and trial advocacy as an adjunct professor at St. Mary's University School of Law.
I arbitrate, but do not mediate.
